This course is a theory-based course which aims to teach the fundamentals of fire awareness and fire extinguisher use. It will cover work activities and building conditions which could result in fire hazards, different classes of fire, fire extinguisher types and usage, general legislation for fire and fire extinguisher, basic control measures for fire hazards; and how to select, use, and maintain fire safety and prevention equipment.
